When you visit this website

You can read these pages without creating an account. The website remembers your language choice in your browser’s local storage. You can clear it in your browser settings. These pages do not include analytics tools, advertising, or embedded social media content.

Publisher and data controller

Duo Complice is published by Thierry Sueur, an individual publishing the app in his own name. Thierry Sueur is the controller of the personal data used by Duo Complice. Ludogame is the name used for the presentation website.

Duo Complice account

If you create an account, your email address, display name, first name, language and profile information are used to sign you in and personalise the experience.

Apple or Google sign-in

If you choose Apple or Google sign-in, Firebase Authentication (Google) processes the sign-in. Duo Complice receives your verified email address and identifiers needed to find your account. Your Apple or Google password is not shared with us. Apple lets you hide your email address.

Players and history

The first names and optional genders of players you choose to save, together with stored sessions, scores and results, may be linked to your account so you can find them later.

Illustrated avatars

If you choose to create an illustrated avatar, the selected photo is securely sent to the image-generation service used by Duo Complice to produce the avatar. Duo Complice does not keep the original photo after processing; only the generated avatar is stored for display in your profile and in Your Duo. You can replace or remove it at any time. If the photo shows someone else, make sure you have their permission before sending it.

Two-phone mode

When you use connected play, the information required to synchronise the game and submitted answers temporarily passes through the game server so both phones can play together.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play. Duo Complice keeps only the information required to recognise Premium entitlements linked to your account.

Your choices and rights

From Profile, you can view and edit your information, remove saved players and permanently delete your account. Account deletion removes the associated account data managed by the service.

Security

Your password is not stored in the app. Your sign-in session is kept in the device secure storage.

Retention periods

Profile data, saved players, avatars and history are kept to operate the account. You can delete a player or avatar earlier, or request account deletion from My profile.

An account without purchases is deleted after two years without signing in.

For an account with purchases, only information needed to access purchased content and restore entitlements may be kept beyond two years of inactivity, for as long as that content is provided. This exception does not justify keeping all other data indefinitely. Stores apply their own transaction retention obligations.

Duo Complice does not retain an avatar’s source photo after processing. The avatar is kept until replaced, deleted or the account is deleted. Local preferences, including the chosen partner, remain on the device for your next sign-in; signing out alone does not erase them.

When links to a store or social network are added, opening them will take you away from this website. The relevant service will apply its own privacy rules.
