What you need to know before your first game — or before picking up the next one.
How many people can play?
Duo Complice is for two players. The questions are designed for couples and moments you can share together.
Do both phones need the app?
No. In connected mode, one person starts the game in the app. Their partner scans the QR code and plays directly in their browser.
Do I need an account?
You can play on one phone without an account. An account is needed to host a connected game and access your profile and saved players.
Can we play for free?
Yes, a selection of questions lets you try the game. A one-time purchase, with no subscription, unlocks the full catalogue. Available content depends on your chosen language; details are shown in the app.
Do we need an Internet connection?
Connected play requires Internet on both phones. Questions for one-phone mode are included in the app. Signing in, purchases, and some profile features use the Internet.
Who decides whether our answers match?
The two of you! Compare your answers and award yourselves a match in the app. The game does not mark answers automatically.
What if I close the page by accident?
Scan the QR code again, preferably in the same browser. The page will try to resume your game automatically. If you see “Connecting”, wait a few moments; you do not need to refresh the page.
Can we pause the game?
Yes, you can pause the timer in the app. Take time to talk or think together.
How do I change the language?
Choose your language in the app. The QR link passes your choice to the second player’s page. When no language is passed, a supported browser language is used.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use “Restore purchases” in the app, with the store account that made the purchase. If the issue continues, contact us with your device details and the message you see.
How do I delete my account?
Open your profile in the app and use the account deletion option. You can also email contact_duo_complice@ludogame.fr with a request about your data.
